Ordering custom paper stickers starts with the surface they will label and the conditions they will face. A label that looks right in a photograph still needs the right dimensions, adhesive and finish for your project. For B2B buyers, a clear specification helps a supplier prepare a useful quotation and helps avoid assumptions during production.

Gaoguo is a custom packaging and printing manufacturer in China. Our custom printed coated paper stickers use 80 gsm coated paper, with a minimum order quantity of 500 pieces and a production lead time of 5–7 days. Confirm the schedule for your final specification; delivery time is separate. The following checklist explains what else to discuss before ordering.

What are custom paper stickers?

Custom paper stickers carry a buyer’s artwork, logo or information on a paper face material. They can be specified for branding and packaging projects, but the intended use should guide the construction. Paper weight describes the face material; it does not, by itself, confirm the adhesive, finished thickness or resistance to water.

Start with the application surface

Tell your supplier what the sticker will be applied to: a paper bag, carton, glass container, plastic package or another surface. Describe texture, curvature and the conditions during application and use. Also state whether the label should remain in place or be removed later.

For this Gaoguo product, adhesive type and removal behavior require project confirmation. Do not assume permanent adhesion, residue-free removal or suitability for every container. Ask to evaluate a representative sample on your actual packaging before approving the specification.

Specify dimensions, shape and artwork

  • Give the finished width and height, including the unit of measurement.
  • Identify the shape and provide a cutting outline for a custom design.
  • Send your logo, text and authorized artwork; include color references where needed.
  • Review bleed, safe areas, small text and the cut line with the supplier before production.
  • Confirm the printing method and any proof requirements during quotation.

Round, oval and shaped labels appear in the product photographs. Treat those images as examples of appearance, rather than specifications for every order. A new design should have its own approved size and artwork.

Confirm the finish and supply format

Describe the desired appearance and whether you need a protective finish. Lamination, varnish or another finish should be confirmed for the selected material. The photographs do not establish a particular coating or performance rating.

Explain whether labels will be applied by hand or machine. Sheet, individual-label and roll availability require confirmation. If you use an applicator, provide its requirements, including core size and unwind direction, before accepting a roll specification.

Are coated paper stickers waterproof or food-safe?

Waterproof performance and direct food-contact suitability have not been confirmed for this product. A photograph of a label on fruit or another item is not evidence of compliance or application suitability. Explain the intended contact and exposure conditions, and request an appropriate material and application evaluation.

What should a quotation request include?

Send the quantity, dimensions, shape, artwork, application surface, desired finish, supply format and delivery destination. Mention any removal, moisture or temperature requirements so they can be discussed explicitly. Our custom packaging RFQ checklist provides a broader guide to preparing a purchasing brief.
