Product construction & artwork

Use these details to prepare your brief. Materials, construction and production specifications are confirmed for the individual project.

Black cardstock material

Black cardstock gives this bag its dark base before decoration. Paper weight alone does not establish load capacity: bag dimensions, grain direction, folds, reinforcement and handle attachment also matter. Confirm the stock, surface texture and intended packed weight through a representative sample rather than treating the pictured bag as a tested weight rating.

Gold foil stamping

Hot foil stamping transfers a foil design with heat and pressure. Keep the foil artwork separate from printed artwork so placement can be checked against folds, edges and handle holes. Fine lines, small text and large solid foil areas should be reviewed for the selected stock; the approved sample should establish the foil shade, coverage and registration.

Printing on black paper

Black paper changes how printed colors appear. Conventional transparent process inks will not reproduce a bright design in the same way they do on white stock. If your design needs white lettering or vivid color, ask which opaque ink, white base or alternative construction is feasible. Review a physical sample; a screen mockup cannot confirm opacity, color or the texture of the finished paper.

Rope handle options

Specify the preferred handle color, length and attachment style together with the bag size and packed product. The rope, punched holes and reinforcement should be considered as one construction. Discuss whether a knotted or other attachment is suitable; available rope materials and carrying performance require project confirmation.

Artwork requirements

Provide editable vector artwork where available, with fonts outlined or supplied and linked images included. Identify foil elements on a clearly named separate layer or file. Keep important artwork away from folds, seams and handle openings. Use a dieline confirmed for the final dimensions; the required bleed, safety margins and minimum foil detail must be agreed before approval.

Customization options

The brief can cover width, height, gusset, paper appearance, foil layout, printed elements, handle details and any reinforcement needs. Share the intended product and reference images to help distinguish the visual effect from the structural requirements. Each option is subject to material availability and production review; pictured features are references, not a guarantee that every combination is possible.

Production considerations

Confirm the dimensions, stock, decoration, handle construction and sample approval before production. Dark surfaces can make handling marks and edge wear more noticeable, so agree how the bags will be protected in cartons and inspected on receipt. Quantity, artwork changes and proof approval affect the production plan; request a project-specific schedule rather than relying on a generic lead time.
